A customer in Underhill, Vermont, required a solution for a bowing wall in their basement.  After meeting with a structural engineer, from whom gave the strong recommendation of using Matt Clark's Northern Basement Systems.  After a free extensive inspection from a System Design Specialist, the conclusion was a PowerBrace Foundation Wall Repair System would be the best solution to fix the wall.  The PowerBrace is a patented foundation wall repair system that's designed to stabilize failing basement walls and provide the potential to straighten walls over time.  These steel i-beams will maintain the wall in its current position without any further adjustment. Over time, the PowerBrace System can be tightened to make bowing or tilting walls straighter.

The foundation wall of a home in West Lebanon, New Hampshire was in danger of caving in.  The home owner contacted Matt Clark's Northern Basement Systems and set up a FREE ESTIMATE  with one of their System Design Specialist.  They came up with a plan that would permanently stabilize the foundation wall and have the potential to straighten out the wall over time.  Northern Basement Systems installed a GEO-Lock Wall Anchor System.  The Geo-Lock Anchor System will have steel rods, eight in this case, drilled through the foundation to a dug out trench in the yard.  In the trench the rods will be attached to an Earth Anchor.  The Earth Anchor will sit deep in the trench and once attached will be back filled with rocks and soil.  Inside the basement the steel rods are attached to Wall Plate.  Finally a technician from Matt Clark's Northern Basement Systems will tighten the rods from inside the basement making the walls permanently stabilized.
