In Winooski, Vermont, a family was growing very uneased at the sight of one of their basement walls and sagging ceiling. What had started as a fine horizontal crack, over time, had grown to an enormous crack, and now the walls were beginning to cave in.
Solution

After an intense inspection, accompanied by a civil engineer, a custom design was set up to keep the family's foundation walls and raise and provide permanent support to the upstairs floor. Power Braces will provide continuous support to the walls for the walls and ensure they will not cave in. To provide stable support to the ceiling and to bring the sunken section back to a level position, thirty Smart Jacks were installed throughout the entire basement. Two galvanized steel I-beams ran along separate basement areas to provide additional support for the Smart Jacks. The family can now have peace of mind, knowing their basement is foundationally safe and sound.
