A Bethlehem, New Hampshire homeowner contacted Northern Basement Systems with concern regarding the water entering the fieldstone foundation. We scheduled him a FREE estimate with one of our System Design Specialists to perform an inside and outside inspection of the home and find a solution to meet the homeowner's needs. During the home visit, the Specialist also noticed that the home had sagging floors and lacked foundation supports.

Solution
Our team first addressed the foundation concerns by installing a Supplemental PowerBrace Beam and 2 SmartJack Supports to help level the floors and stabilize the home to prevent further sagging. Next, to keep the basement dry and make it much cleaner, our team installed a CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System with CleanSpace Drainage Matting to give the water flooding in, a channel under the mat to travel to the Sump Pump, and prevent water pooling. The CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System is them complete with a CleanSpace Vapor Barrier Liner that prevents any water or humidity from entering the basement. They then paired this system with a SmartSump Pump System with a WaterWatch alarm that will sound if the water ever rises above the point at which the pump should have kicked on. The pump system is complete with a discharge line and LawnScape Outlet.
