Challenge

Peter from Richmond, Vermont has been battling water for over 20 years! The home was built in the 1960's with an area of crawlspace off one corner of the basement. The crawlspace had a dirt floor and the basement area was experiencing water seepage. There has also been an ongoing concern with the level of moisture in the air, raising concern for health issues and the promotion of mold in the home.

Solution

Our system design specialist visited the home, listened to the homeowner's concerns, and thoroughly inspected the basement and crawlspace area. With a better understanding of the space and concerns, the system design specialist developed a FREE estimate and project proposal. He proposed to install a total CleanSpace System in the crawlspace area with drainage matting, 20-mil poly-reinforced crawl space liner, and SmartDrain. For the basement space, the specialist recommended a full-perimeter WaterGuard Drainage System and a TripleSafe Sump Pump. The TripleSafe Pump is our most reliable pump with a primary pump, a secondary pump in the situation that the primary pump fails or can't keep up with heavy water flow, this pump system also includes an UltraSump Battery Back-up pump to protect the home against double pump failure, tripped circuit, or power outage. Due to the project budget, the WaterGuard will be installed at a later date.
