Waterproofed Crawl Space in Newport, Vermont
Challenge
Home owners in Newport, Vermont were looking for a solution to their wet, cold, and humid crawl space. They would constantly have a cold and damp feeling on their feet while upstairs on their uneven floor. When the homeowners went into the crawl space it was an unpleasant surprise to find the sump pump in place was working, but not keeping up with the water coming in. Also, the support beams for the floor joists were made of wood and had started to show signs of fatigue. This made them feel uncomfortable with the safety of the home.
Solution
They decided to make a call to Matt Clark's Northern Basement Systems @855-DRY-Time for their FREE ESTIMATE. Northern Basement Systems sent out a System Design Specialist and access the situation and propose a permanent solution for the customers crawl space concerns. To fix the water issue Northern Basement Systems installed a Crawl Space Drainage System with a TripleSafe Sump Pump. To control the humidity the customers went with a SaniDy Sedona dehumidifier. Then to control the cold floors Northern Basement Systems put in a CleanSpace Wall System. Smart Jacks were put in to replace the decaying support beams. The SmartJacks are the best way to permanently solve sagging floor problems.
