Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Swanton, Vermont Waterproofing System
A wonderful home owner in Swanton, Vermont was getting water in their basement. They wanted to make it a usable space for storage and an extra place for kids to play. Northern Basement Systems sent out one of our highly experienced System Design Specialist to access the situation. After the inspection and meeting with the homeowner it was determined the best resolution for the water problem was to install a full basement waterproofing system. It consists of a full perimeter water guard system which collects all of the unwanted water and redirects it to the state-of-the-art super sump pump. The Super Sump Pump then pumps the unwanted water out of the basement and away from the house. There also was a wall that was particulary cold and damp. To fix the cold wall they installed clean space. This will help reduce the moisture, humidity, and help seal out cold drafts. The home owner now has a dry basement for storage and plenty of extra dry space for the kids to play.

Our team is prepping the area for the installation of the Super Sump Pump. Adam is making the cut with the jack hammer, while Dustin is removing the unwanted ground material.
Keeping the Refrigerator on a Pallet
The homeowners basement would get enough water in the basement that they were forced to keep their refrigerator on a pallet.
Cold Wall
Here is the wall before Northern Basements installed CleanSpace on it.
Clean Space
Now the wall is covered with our CleanSpace. This will reduce the amount of moisture and humidity coming from the wall.
Super Sump Pump
The SuperSump Pump system is now installed ready to pump out any water that works it way into the water guard system.
