Waterproofing a Basement in Weare, New Hampshire
Challenge
Water was entering at an alarming rate in a home's basement in Weare, New Hampshire. The homeowner accessed the situation and concluded it was time to seek a professional to help.
Solution
The owner reached out to the waterproofing experts at Matt Clark's Northern Basement Systems at 855-Dry-Time and set up a free estimate.
During the estimate, multiple areas of the foundation had evidence of water entering. The first was coming through the walls via hydrostatic pressure, and the other was seeping up from the footing of the foundation.
A System Design Technician came up with a custom plan to keep the water out of the customer's basement. First, a Clean Space Wall System would go along the walls of the entire basement. The Clean Space will tie into the Water Guard Drainage system. The Water Guard Drainage System will take any water entering via hydrostatic pressure or seepage and deliver it to the newly installed Super Sump Plus Sump Pump. The sump pump will discharge any water entering it and take it out of the basement down a discharge line, through an Ice Gaurd System, and express the water safely away from the home's foundation. The customer can now enjoy a dry, clean, useable basement.
