New Homeowner with Wet Basement in Barre, Vermont

Challenge

A new Barre homeowner purchased a home knowing that the previous homeowners battled seasonal water in the basement. After moving in and seeing the water concerns she knew that the problem needed to be addressed as soon as possible to prevent further damage and the growth of mold in her new home.

Solution

She contacted Matt and the team to see how we could help her and her new home!

Our team placed WaterGuard drainage around the perimeter of the foundation, just under to footing to collect the water outside the foundation and placed a vapor barrier product called CleanSpace along the walls to prevent the basement from getting water. To pair with these products our team also installed our most reliable pump, the TripleSafe Sump Pump System. This system houses 3 sump pumps, a primary pump, a secondary pump, and an UltraSump battery back-up pump, to ensure the whole basement remains dry through the biggest storms, power outages, tripped circuits or pump failure.
