This 1980's home located in Plymouth, New Hampshire had water seepage along the wall and floor joint. The water was causing damage to the homeowner's belongings. After a spring of heavy rain and snowmelt, the homeowner decided to give Northern Basements a call to find a solution to prevent water from ever entering again. 

Solution

We provided the homeowners with a FREE written proposal at the time of the appointment to keep the space dry, all the time.

Our team proposed and installed a partial perimeter WaterGuard Drainage System along the walls that had water seepage and a TrenchDrain in front of the garage door to collect water and prevent it from entering the basement. The drainage system was also paired with our most reliable sump pump system, the Triple Safe. This system is composed of a primary pump, a secondary pump to protect against pump failure or heavy rainfall, and an UltraSump Battery Back-Up pump to keep the space dry in the event of a power outage, a tripped circuit, or pump failure. Every pump system is complete with a discharge line, an IceGuard, and a LawnScape Outlet. 

With this complete system in place, the water outside the foundation will be collected and pumped out before it has the opportunity to enter the basement, keeping it dry year-round!
