Worsening Water Concerns in Barre, Vermont
Challenge
Wendy has been living in her 1880's home located in Barre, Vermont for almost 15 years and has always gotten some water seasonally, but the issue seems to be worsening with each rainfall. Wendy has noticed the water entering at the wall and floor joint along only one wall of the basement so her biggest goal was to address that wall and prevent water from seeping in with each rainstorm.
Solution
We provided Wendy with a FREE ESTIMATE and project proposal, then our team installed the waterproofing system.
First, the installation specialist jackhammered along the wall that was getting water, then installed a partial WaterGuard Drainage System to prevent water from entering at the wall and floor joint and concealed the system with concrete. To pair with the drainage system, our team installed our most reliable system, the TripleSafe Sump Pump System. This system is composed of 3 pumps, a primary pump, a secondary pump, and an UltraSump battery back-up pump. This system will prevent flooding during power outages, dual pump failure, tripped circuit, and heavy water flow. Lastly, this system includes a WaterWatch Alarm that will sound to alert you, in the event that the water has risen about the point at which the pumps should have kicked on.
Lastly, this system is complete with a pump discharge line, an IceGuard to protect the home against a frozen discharge line, and a LawnScape outlet to distribute the water onto the lawn.
Wendy no longer has to worry about water in her basement, thanks to her new waterproofing system! Call 855-DRY-TIME to eliminate water in your basement!
