Water Entering Basement During Storm in Winooski, Vermont
Challenge
The Winooski homeowners called Northern Basement Systems after they had endless times that water would enter their basement during rainstorms and worsen as rainfall became more severe. They began to struggle with the moisture left behind with each rainstorm, causing wood rot and mold. They needed to find a way to keep the water out, so they called 855-DRY-TIME, to find the right solution for them.
Solution
Our team of system design specialists provided a FREE ESTIMATE and proposed a solution to alleviate their concerns. Our team installed a WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system, TrenchDrain, and a TripleSafe Pump System. The TripleSafe Pump is the most reliable pump with a primary pump, a secondary pump for high water flow or primary pump failure, and an UltraSump battery backup sump pump if there's a power outage. They also installed a WaterWatch Alarm System, that will sound off to let you know if water has risen past the point where the pumps should have turned on. Lastly, our installation specialist installed the discharge line with the IceGuard to prevent a frozen or clogged discharge line from flooding, and then place a LawnScape outlet at the end of the discharge line.
With all of these systems and products in place, the homeowners no longer have to worry about their basement flooding every time it rains! Call Northern Basement Systems at 855-DRY-TIME to schedule your FREE ESTIMATE!
