Wet Basement in Swanton, VT
Challenge
A home in Swanton, Vermont was in need of some help form our team of experts. The home would get water in the basement when there was a hard rain or a lot of snow melting. It got to the point where the homeowner decided, to be safe, they would keep their refrigerator on a pallet. Giving it 3-4 inches of clearance from the water. The water also made it so the children of the home had to keep all their toys off the floor or be in danger of losing them to water damage.
Solution
One of Matt's top System Design Specialist came to the home and accessed the situation. The specialist came up with a plan for the homeowner and our production team went to work right away executing the plan. Northern Basement Systems would install a WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system. This will collect the water before it enters the basement floor. The system will direct the water to the SuperSump Pump. The Super Sump Pump then will pump out the water and discharge it away from the home.
