Challenge
A construction company in West Lebanon, New Hampshire won a bid for an extensive renovation project on multiple apartment buildings. The company had been in business for many years and are known for the quality of its craftsmanship. This particular project included remodeling of all the basements of the apartment units, mainly due to water damage. The apartment units sat at the bottom of the hill and would get quite a lot of water in the basements on a regular basis. Wanting to make sure their customer's apartment basements would no longer get water in their basements, the construction company hired Vermont's & New Hampshire's most trustworthy and reputable waterproofing company, Matt Clark's Northern Basement Systems. After a few meetings and inspections, the professionals at Matt Clark's Northern Basement Systems went to work making sure the basements of all the apartment units would never see water again.
Solution
The Installation specialist first laid down a full perimeter water guard system. While the water guard system was being installed another part of the installation team put up a Clean space Wall system around the entire perimeter walls of the basement. The clean space wall system will provide an amazing vapor barrier for the walls and will also take any wall seepage from hydrostatic pressure and put it into the water guard system. After the clean space and water guard systems are installed The crew installed two Triplesafe sump pump systems. The water guard system will tie into the TripleSafe sump pump where the water pumps out of the apartment basement down a discharge line away from the building.
