Matt Clark's Northern Basement Systems Water Proofing a Crawl Space in North Conway, New Hampshire.
Challenge
In a home in North Conway, New Hampshire, the crawlspace walls, ceiling, and fiberglass insulation were wet and holding moisture, promoting the growth of mold. The crawlspace had a small sump pump and commercial dehumidifier, but these systems aren't able to keep up with the moisture and water.
Solution
The homeowner gave the waterproofing experts at Matt Clark's Northern Basement Systems a call at 855-Dry-Time. After a free estimate from one of the System Design Specialist, a team of installation specialists installed a total encapsulation system to trap out the water and moisture. This system includes drainage matting to channel the water and CleanSpace Crawl Space Vapor Barrier to prevent vapor or water from entering the crawlspace. Next, a SmartSump Crawl Space Sump Pump System with a WaterWatch alarm system and an UltraSump battery back-up pump was installed to protect the home against flooding in the situation of a power outage or tripped breaker. Lastly, our team installed a discharge line with an IceGuard to protect the crawlspace from a frozen discharge line, and a LawnScape Outlet to disperse the water at the end of the discharge.
