Challenge

A home located in South Hero, Vermont that gets rented through the summer months had water issues in the basement. They were concerned about the water with people renting and the safety and longevity of the foundation so they contacted Northern Basement Systems for a FREE estimate. 

Solution

After visiting the property, accessing the space, and understanding the property owners concerns and budget, our team proposed a system that can alleviate the water and moisture concerns to ensure the property is safe for renters and headache-free during the wet spring and summer days!

Our team proposed and installed a CleanSpace Wall System to cover the walls to prevent water seepage and WaterGuard Drainage around the perimeter of the space getting water. To remove the water collected in the perimeter drainage, this system was paired with our TripleSafe Sump Pump to protect the basement from anything that Vermont weather can send it's way! This pump system holds 3 pumps, a primary pump, a secondary pump, and a battery back-up pump, to protect the space from water in the event of a tripped circuit, power outage, or pump failure. Lastly, our team installed a SaniDry Dehumidifier to reduce moisture in the air to prevent the growth of mold.
