Moretown, Vermont homeowner Rich, was struggling with water entering his basement through the wall and floor joint. He uses his basement for storage and the water was ruining his belongings. The high water table in this area has caused basement flooding for several neighbors as well. This homeowner wanted to find a solution to keep his home dry, once and for all.

After hearing great things about a system installed in a neighbor's home, Rich decided to give Northern Basement Systems a call! We provided Rich with a FREE estimate and site inspection to develop a solution to his concerns.

Solution

First, our team installed a Two-Stage Waterproofing System to 2-stage Waterproofing System with DryTrak around the perimeter and lateral drainage lines to collect water and prevent it from entering the basement. This waterproofing system is complete with our most reliable sump pump, the TripleSafe Sump Pump to remove the water around the foundation. The TripleSafe houses 3 pumps, a primary pump, a secondary pump, an UltraSump Battery Back-Up pump, and WaterWatch Alarm to protect the basement in the event of a power outage, pump failure, or tripped circuit. Lastly, our team installed a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to reduce the humidity that causes mold and musty odors.
