Two Pumps in Grantham, New Hampshire
Challenge
A wonderful home in Grantham, New Hampshire had a larger size basement with a larger size water problem. Hit with this misfortune the home owner was forced to constantly wet vac the mop up the floor. The water would always soak anything on the floor, which led to the home owner putting all of their belongings, in the basement, up on shelves. Tired of all the burdens caused by water entering the basement they decided to reach out for help in finding a way to make it stop.
Solution
They did some research and found that Matt Clark's Northern Basement Systems was a company they felt they could trust and stood by their work. Matt send out one of his System Design Specialist to do a free estimate and most importantly find a permanent solution to stopping the water. After the estimate a plan was signed off on to finally put an end to the water problem. Matt Clark's Northern Basement Systems started by installing a Full Perimeter Water Guard System. The WaterGuard will collect all of the water entering the basement and direct it to a pump. In this case the basement was so big and was getting so much water there was a need for two pumps. On the side that received the most water a TripleSafe Sump Pump was installed. The TripleSafe has three pumps in it. Pump 1 can handle 2,600 gallons of water per hour. Pump 2 can do up to 6,200 gallons per hour and Pump 3 is a back up which runs off a battery. On the other side of the basement a SuperSump Pump was installed. It can handle up to 2,280 gallons per hour. The two pumps both have separate discharge lines that run out of the basement and away from the home. Both set of discharge lines have IceGuards inline to make sure nothing ever floods due to freezing in the lines. The home owner can finally start to store stuff on the basement floor and can put the wet vac away for good because their basement is now dry and waterproofed.
