CleanSpace, TripleSump Pump, SuperSump Pump. & Water Guard

Challenge

   The owner of a wonderful home in Panton, Vermont had a horrible water problem in their basement.  Water would violate their basement every time there was a good amount of rain and during the melting of snow.  The owner would spend hours and hours of their valuable time cleaning up the mess from the water.  They used mops, towels, you name it.  It was a complete nightmare.  There basement walls had a good amount of seepage and moisture on it too.  They also had a large crawl space where the same issues where happening. 

Solution

   They researched and researched for a a company who would stand by their work, who is trusted and very reputable.  They made the right choice and went with Matt Clark's Northern Basement Systems.  A meeting was set up with a System Design Specialist to do a site visit and go over all the option for the homeowner.  They decided to go with a full perimeter Water Guard System, a TripleSafe Sump Pump., Clean Space on all the basement walls and in the crawl space.  They also decided a pump in the crawl space would be very beneficial to keeping the crawl space dry.  

The Water Guard System will run the perimeter of the basement and collect all the water.  It then will take the water to the TripleSafe Sump Pump.  The pump will then discharge the water out a discharge line away from the house.  The CleanSpace  achieves several important goals. As part of your waterproofing system, it creates an effective moisture and vapor barrier. The wall covering forces all wall seepage and moisture to flow into your perimeter drain system. The white poly surface eliminates the need to paint basement walls, providing a bright, stain-resistant finish that never needs repainting or maintenance.  CleanSpace is also installed in the crawl space along with a Super Sump pump.  The home owners are very happy with their dry basement and very happy they don't have to waste any of their valuable time cleaning up water in their basement.
